Orthopedic Specialists & Sports Medicine was first established as Orthopedic & Fracture Clinic in 1976 by Dr. Claude Rousseau. Focusing specifically on bone, joint, and muscle care, the practice would soon establish itself as one dedicated to providing the highest level of specialized care to each and every one of its patients. Orthopedic Specialists & Sports Medicine has since evolved and added additional services to better meet the needs of our patients.
In addition to our specialties, we also offer comprehensive services to streamline your continuum of care, including our ambulatory surgery center, bone health, digital X-ray, durable medical equipment (DME), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), Orthopedic Urgent Care and physical therapy.
Our providers remain independent so we can be in control of providing reliable, dependable, and cost-effective orthopedic treatment for our community. Orthopedic Specialists & Sports Medicine’s state-of-the-art ambulatory surgery center, Northpointe Surgical Suites, was recently awarded The Joint Commission’s Advanced Total Hip and Total Knee Replacement Certification for the second time. This distinguished certification not only demonstrates a commitment to a higher standard of clinical service but also indicates that the care provided has the critical elements for long-term success in improving outcomes.
Northpointe Surgical Suites is one of only three ambulatory surgery centers in the state of Ohio to earn this advanced orthopedic certification.
