Dr. Eric Erb is a distinguished orthopedic surgeon specializing in adult reconstruction. He completed his Adult Reconstruction Fellowship at the Mississippi Sports Medicine and Orthopedic Center and Orthopaedic Surgery Residency at Wright State University, where he demonstrated exceptional proficiency, passing the ABOS Part I exam with notable scores. Dr. Erb’s subspecialty training includes partial and total knee replacement, robotic knee replacement, anterior and posterior total hip replacement, revision hip and knee replacement, and outpatient total joint procedures.
Dr. Erb earned his medical degree from Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine, receiving multiple scholarships for his academic excellence. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Nutritional Biochemistry and Metabolism and a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry with a minor in Sports Medicine from Case Western Reserve University, where he graduated summa cum laude.
Throughout his career, Dr. Erb has contributed to the field of orthopedics through significant research and publications. His research, particularly in the areas of pain management and surgical techniques, has directly influenced patient care and outcomes. His work has been published in several reputable medical journals and has presented his findings at numerous conferences.
In addition to his academic and clinical achievements, Dr. Erb has been actively involved in various leadership and community service roles. He has served as a resident representative on the Wright State Residency Trauma Committee, a bone marrow donor for the Be The Match program, and a coach for high school soccer teams. Dr. Erb’s diverse experiences and dedication to improving patient outcomes highlight his commitment to the field of orthopedic surgery. When he is not working, he enjoys spending time with his family, exercising, and golfing.
