He enjoys treating sports injuries, and provided sideline medical coverage for San Francisco’s professional women’s soccer team, Bay FC. His extensive training is complemented by numerous honors and awards, including multiple first-place finishes in the Ohio Foot and Ankle Medical Association’s manuscript and poster competitions and being the first DPM to receive the OhioHealth Orthopedic Trauma Resident of the Year Award.

His research has been published in several peer-reviewed journals, contributing valuable insights to the field of podiatry. Dr. Dao is also an active presenter at numerous conferences and symposiums, sharing his findings on topics such as subtalar joint fixation and total talus arthroplasty.

In addition to his clinical and academic achievements, Dr. Dao has demonstrated leadership in various roles, including trustee of the Ohio Foot and Ankle Medical Association and a board member of Student Transatlantic Education in Podiatric Surgery (S.T.E.P.S), a not-for-profit organization which aims to provide comprehensive medical student education and hands-on training. His volunteer work and extensive participation in advanced training workshops further underscore his dedication to advancing foot and ankle surgery.

With his extensive training and experience, Dr. Dao uses the most up-to-date treatments to provide comprehensive foot and ankle care. His goal is to exhaust all conservative treatment options prior to considering surgery to help his patients get back on their feet and return to doing the things they love most.

During my free time, I enjoy spending time with my wife, daughter, and dogs, as well as grilling, trying new foods, and traveling.
